Toyota Wins Eight Awards From Canadian Black Book

Toyota Canada just snagged eight 2025 Best Residual Value Awards from Canadian Black Book (CBB), including the big one: Overall Brand Awards in both the Car and SUV/Truck categories.

The CBB 2025 Best Residual Value Awards are all about predicting which rides will keep their value the best down the road.

Basically, these awards spotlight the vehicles that are expected to hang onto the biggest chunk of their original sticker price four years after you drive them off the lot. They cover 21 different categories, including cars, trucks, SUVs, and EVs.

“We’re proud to be recognized by Canadian Black Book for our commitment to meet the driving needs of every Canadian through our product strategy,” said Robert Tsang, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Toyota Canada. “Putting our customers first and providing high quality, durable, and reliable products is part of our foundation and we’re thankful for the continued trust.”

About Canadian Black Book

Canadian Black Book has been dishing out vehicle values to the Canadian auto scene for over 60 years.

Over time, they've grown into a top-notch source for vehicle valuations, predicting residual values, and decoding VINs. Known as 'The Authority' on vehicle values, their numbers are trusted by dealers, manufacturers, leasing companies, finance folks, insurers, and wholesalers alike.

With their Enhance Vehicle Matching (EVM) solution, the industry can now break down those 17-digit VINs to the nitty-gritty details of a car's trim package, making vehicle valuations way more accurate.
