Toyota's Full Range Of Electric Vehicles In Scarborough

An Electric Vehicle For Every Drive

With over 20 million electrified vehicles sold around the globe since 1997, Toyota has spent decades tinkering with the technology that pushes electric vehicles forward.

While Toyota has long been known for hybrids, our commitment to a zero-emission future has culminated in a growing lineup of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) designed for the modern driver.

Toyota are merging legendary reliability with cutting edge models like, the all-electric Toyota bZ and the all-new Toyota C-HR BEV.

Whether you are navigating the Don Valley to Downtown Toronto or running errands along Sheppard Avenue, we are confident our fully electric lineup offers the range, performance, and advanced technology to handle your busy day-to-day schedule.

Benefits Of Owning A Toyota Battery EV

Toyota Reliability & Warranties: Toyota BEVs are built to last, thanks to the renowned reliability of Toyota. That's why our BEVs come with an 8-year/160,000 km warranty.

Environmental Commitment: You can feel confident about choosing Toyota. We have a strong battery recycling initiative, and our aim is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, aligning with the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050.

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint: Reducing CO2 emissions by transitioning to fully electric options is one way we can help decrease greenhouse gases and minimize our impact on the environment.

Easy To Maintain: Without a combustion engine or transmission, BEVs contain fewer mechanical components. The regenerative braking system in these vehicles decreases brake pad wear, further reducing service and maintenance costs.

Owning An An EV vs. Combustion Engine

Owning a fully electric vehicle (EV) is increasingly becoming the more economical choice for Canadians compared to traditional gas-powered cars. While the initial sticker price can be higher, the substantial savings in daily operation often allow owners to reach a "break-even" point in less than five years.

Fuel Savings: Electricity vs. Gasoline

Fuel costs represent the most immediate area of savings. With the average Canadian spending nearly $3,000 annually on gasoline, the switch to electric power offers a dramatic reduction in overhead.

Gasoline: A typical commute can cost upwards of 10 to 15 cents per kilometer in fuel.

Electricity: Charging a battery electric vehicle (BEV) at home typically costs only a few hundred dollars per year. In many provinces, this works out to roughly 2 to 3 cents per kilometer.

Simplified Maintenance

Because battery electric vehicles do not have internal combustion engines, they are significantly less complex. An EV drivetrain has about 20 moving parts, compared to roughly 2,000 in a gas-powered vehicle.

No More: Oil changes, spark plug replacements, timing belts, or exhaust system repairs.

Brake Longevity: EVs use regenerative braking, which uses the motor to slow the car down. This significantly reduces wear on brake pads and rotors. As a result, EV owners typically see a 40% to 50% reduction in maintenance costs over the life of the vehicle.
